Amari Harris

VP ETHICS, DIVERSITY + INCLUSION

Amari is a 3rd-year Urban Planning student that has a focus on identity, cultural representation, and how underrepresented groups experience cities at the ground level. While architecture often designs for the skyline, I care about how people live and gather in everyday spaces and interact on the ground— from porches and courtyards to banquet halls and cookouts. I aspire to fill the gaps in our urban planning school so that we can all bring our enhanced learning and carry cultural knowledge into the future of planning. Amari has an interest on transportation, land use and urban design fundamentals, and would love to chit chat anytime anywhere!
